How payment works
The money is paid to TrustBuild first. Each step is released only after progress photos pass the AI check and the homeowner approves. Approved payments wait 24 hours before they send, so the homeowner can change their mind.
Protection for the contractor
If the homeowner does not review a completed step within 7 days, TrustBuild releases the money automatically. Funds cannot be pulled back out of escrow once deposited.
If you disagree
Either side can open a dispute. AI compares the approved preview with the submitted photos and recommends a full, partial, or zero release. A human reviewer decides within 3 business days.
Records
Signed contracts, permits, photos, and payments are stored permanently in the property passport for this address.
